Ragdoll Blaster 2 HD Lite iPad App

Take the combination of Angry Birds, Little Big Planet on PS3 and maybe a few old Donkey Kong Country levels on Super NES and you have Ragdoll Blaster 2 HD Lite. Ragdoll Blaster 2 HD Lite is a great physics puzzle game for the iPad recently released by Backflip Studios. The Lite version includes about ten tutorial levels to help new users become accustomed to the game’s various gameplay mechanics. After the tutorial there are 20 full challenging levels before the end of the demo.

The goal of each level is to fire the fewest ragdolls through obstacles and hit a target to complete the round. Obstacles can range from levers that open doors to teleporting platforms which send the ragdoll across to other sides of the screen. Unlike Angry Birds or other physics games, this app allows you to continue on with a level for as many shots of the Ragdoll as you’d like. The combination of all these obstacles keeps the levels fresh and unique.

The physics of everything in this game shows the polish that developers have put into it. Altering your shot-speed, angle and other factors are the keys to success in the levels. The way in which the ragdoll can interact with the surroundings makes for many opportunities to better your score, adding to the overall replay value.

The full version of Ragdoll Blaster 2 HD can be purchased from the iTunes store for $4.99
